About Me

My goal as a Licensed Massage Therapist is to provide you with more than just relaxation and stress relief. I focus on helping relieve pain and muscle tightness by working to align your body back to its natural posture and help increase the body's full range of movement through various forms of soft tissue massage, deep tissue massage and energy work. I also am deeply committed to fully understanding your individual needs so we can work together toward a positive outcome. My clients often comment that they’ve never had a massage therapist spend so much time talking and asking questions prior to a massage, that its refreshing to know that I really do care and want to know exactly how they are feeling or how they actually injured themselves. No two people are alike, which is why no two massages I give are the same. I customize my work to create the best possible results for each of my clients.

So many changes... so little time

Well hopefully everyone had a great holiday season, and I apologize for my absence over the last few months.  "Life the Universe and Everything" happened.

This will be a short posting today, but I do have some very interesting posts coming up about massage and how it is no longer being thought of as only healing physical ailments but also healing mental and psychological ailments.  Its very exciting to see people viewing massage as more than just a trip to the spa for a pampering, that it really does go so much further than just your physical body.  Ancient societies have known this and most areas out side of conventional medicine have known this for thousand of years yet only recently has western conventional medicine finally begun to see the possibilities.  I have been more and more excited about seeing so many more studies done in the field of mental health and massage, and with so many positive results!

So thank you again for checking in, and I will be updating soon on upcoming classes, new offers, special deals and some fun facts about life in general to help us all stay in the moment.

Remember, true joy comes from the present moment, never from the past or the future.  So practice being in the moment today and you will experience more out of life than you ever thought you could.

Be here, be now
